Can I ask what could become a silly question, but why do the forum restrict posting in the early stages of joining please ?
Good question Alistair, and a valid one. I'm guessing you mean the forsale section? As I'm unaware other than PM's being restricted to a 5 count of any others? Basically the 20 post count to try and deter drive by posts for people joing soley to use the forum for advertising. You'd probably not be surprised of the amount of people on joining, advertise something for sale, and don't bring anything else to the table so to speak. It's more of a trust thing really, members successfully trade between each other on a regular basis, as we kind of get to know each other over a period of time. Hope that helps?
Thanks Garyb, it does ! Excuse my naivety but I can see that this would work to an extent. Obviously you can see I have only recently joined. I keep being asked to put pictures on Forum. How do I do this on the Gallery please ?
To make your own gallery you can create an album and upload pictures from your pc. If you wish to just add pictures to a post? You'd need a photo bucket account or similar. Once uploaded to photo bucket simply copy the image code and paste it into your thread. You can also add photographs by using the tool bar at the top it's the picture frame image third from the right. But I'll be perfectly honest Alistair, I've had limited luck with the last one. Sure through the course of the evening, others will be along to assist. Hope that helps?
I use picture frame in toolbar and just add from PC or my iPhone or android and it works perfectly for me every time. Creating the gallery is just a drop and click style from what I remember and very easy. Just as an example from my iPhone
