Google Chrome

    Is any of the forum having any problems with google chrome?? specifically updating flash player?

    My partner runs a windows 8 laptop while i use a macbook air both on wifi, over the past few days we are both getting error messages on google chrome saying that flash player may be out of date and to update it, when the box is marked to do the update it will not update at all, every page i visit i get the same warning to update and its doing my swede right in
    I have deleted chrome twice and downloaded again but still having the same problem.....
    Have any of our techy boffins got any ideas plz

    Yes.....I did......delete old issues of flash then reinstall new versions......you should be ok................................I hope ! :confused:

    There is a plugin for Firefox which will update the flash version for you. Even does the one for chrome. Deletes all the old versions and set up either the latest stable or latest beta version depending on what you select.

    I think the answer is that you have ended up with 2 versions of flash in chrome. Will try and remember the fix but I know I found the solution via a google search on the error message.
