    Ill be looking at going down on the Sunday afternoon/evening Si.

    See how many northerners head down for this, and look at the logistics and the prospects of doubling up on transport.
    IMO to far to travel in a morning, to just roll up and ride.

    Just looking at the 'guest list' already.

    No pressure eh :eek:

    But hopefully a few to chase ;)


    Fook me, last time this many northerners went south for a major event, it was to wembley :D

    Booked in Inters. Thats my second track day of the year booked.....so far :D

    The other one I'm booked on is at RAF Benson 'airfield riding day' on Monday 5th May. I need to decide what other ones I'm doing now.

    Just had a very quick look - Premier Inn Silverstone (next to Green Man) is £29 for a double / twin room or Travellodge at Towcester is £22 - those prices WILL change over time, that is correct today.

    Prices above are on pre book saver rates which cannot be refunded / changed

    The Green man is a decent place for a meal / chat - the Travel lodge is next to a BP garage so my suggestion is to get people to book into Premier Inn , Brackley Hatch, Nr. Brackley,
    Northamptonshire NN13 5TX

    Is it worth adding this to the first post Jimbo ?

    I'm going to sleep in the van as I'm a cheap skate and I've already spent enough for the day (plus tyres+fuel+knee sliders+ect)

    Seriously tempted for this did Silverstone full GP last year and loved it. Will get on with booking it when I get paid Friday. Happy days.

    Guys.. Looking at doing my first track day this year so this maybe right up my street.. But not having done a track day before what would be your advise to me if I was going to book up? My road riding tends to be rather spirited to give you an idea..

    2) the Date FFS. Le mans is the 14-15 June and I'm not back until late of the 16th.

    I've not yet started looking at trackdays this year. been to manic But will keep a close eye on the board
