    Hi Slim Ted,
    having done some forum and general internet searching it seems Honda feel that there are certain acceptable levels of usage, and 300ml per 1000 miles falls well within their tolerance levels.
    I think I was surprised by Honda's somewhat dismissive approach to their customer base (reinforced by stories surrounding ABS issues) and in hindsight,perhaps a bit naive, as I doubt any manufacturer is going to rush into accepting liability for any design/engineering issues.
    On balance I think you are all correct and I should stop wittering and buy the bike.:D

    Not sure why everyone seems to be in denial! I believe it's a design feature, more oil, less rings!

    Grantham have a Samsung rep and they are having trouble shifting it, push them a little as see how you get on ;) who's the salesman your dealing with?

    Hi Carl, was meant to go in last Friday but work issues cropped up and somewhat ironically the 2012 HRC I was faffing around about has disappeared from auto traders listings. I couldn't see the Samsung on their website but they do have a very low mileage, non ABS, BLACK 2012. Will ring them tomorrow to arrange a visit this Friday. Fingers crossed, my next post will be with pics.:D

    Why is it whenever I post a photo it's upside down? In the preview its the right way up. Cue the sticky tyre remarks!

    :D Not long now, pick up Friday, hoping for good weather (new tyres and brakes:(). 2012 HRC ABS ON 2014 plate. Spent day sorting insurance and ordering Almax, R&G and some Gilles goodies. Excited and cacking in equal measure:p Will attempt to post pics when I can.:)
