thanks mate, that was the second time I rode there, I raced there a few years later and was doing 2.41, think the video is around 2.55 or something.
Long straight, you get the climb up the radillon correct and your flying up the top, although aragon is faster, 1 mile back straight in aragon.
First corner is very tight, but the more you ride there the easier it gets.

unfortunately I don't have any videos from monteblanco as the camera's I got from my sponsor are so crap he's getting them back on friday :D :D

Would love to do this - great area and nice time of year - that said escaping winter for 3 / 4 days in November / Jan / Feb also appeals

I may well be on this one with a couple of others, did Motorland a couple of years ago on an RSV4, I was also at MonteBlanco in Feb, think I followed you a couple of times, you have a nice line through the cones at a couple of sections, at least it cuts out those awful two hairpins.

only twice in the 4 days ;)... got a bollocking off barry though, just caught neutral and didn't want to force anything so went up the hill and slotted back in.. first one was the second day, straight through the chicane and the the 3rd day up the hill...

what times did you do there? I got down to 1.52 on the second day and the 3rd day with the new layout 1.38 or 37, would need to check the laptime

what bike were you on? a blade? I liked monteblanco and would go back but mates want to go somewhere else, so probably aragon if we can book in time as they haven't opened up booking yet

    Hello Skippy79,

I was on a GSXR 1000 K5, all blue, I was behind you when you went through the top of the chicane, and when you went up the hill, thought about taking that route myself as I didn't like those two tight hairpins, I am especially rubbish out of really slow corners. I was doing 1.52/53 also, according to the Go Pro on the first layout. On the second layout I had a bit of a slide on the long left on the first day, so decided not to push around that bumpy assed corner, we already had one of our party in a Spanish hospital with a broken leg, didn't want another one, so I was doing 1.41/42/43, I preferred the first layout.

The lad with the broken leg had to have it pinned and plated once we got back to the UK, he gets married three weeks today, he is on crutches for four months, wedding pictures will be interesting.

Maybe see you at Motorland in September, we are also going to Almeria in September, ride safe.
