Is it necessary to fit another relay when fitting LED indicators, or are load resistors the thing to install.

On my RR5 I had to change the relay as well. Which wasn't difficult but just time consuming as it's between the headlights meaning the whole nose came off.

It's a pain in the arse between the headlights and a really stupid idea! I extended my wiring and mine now sits behind the left hand panel, I'm not doing that again!

I fitted two in line resistors on my Blackbird ( one per indicator, rear) and they seem to work fine.

Resistors will do the job but be aware that they will get a tadge warm so be careful where you place them.

Personally I prefer replacing the relay as it is a neater solution.

The Relay on the 954 is situated under the right hand side of the rear panel, is a right pain to get to as are the indicator wires. So have ordered a pair of extensions

Wish I'd have done that Martin. Saying that I'm thinking of the Neverland Repsol fairings next month so it'll all have to come apart again anyway. I'm hoping it's straightforward enough to fit, after all if I can arse about with the nose cone as many times as I did then the rest shouldn't be too bad.......should it??? Lol

Behind LH side fairing, towards the top.
