Best F1 race I've seen since Canada 2011! Absolutely epic and nice to see Vettel finishing down out of the top 5 where he really belongs. Was saying for the last 4 years how it's the car and not him and thank god I was proven right. Senna had a troublesome car at Williams even on the weekend of his death he had understeer and oversteer at the same time during cornering something that had never been heard of before in F1 and he still stuck it on Pole ahead of Schumacher.

Perhaps they should have every race a 9 lapper, because that is what made it exciting for a change. I fell asleep mid race.
Bernie - If you are looking for rule changes, how about 2 races, like BSB and WSB?

Bring the SC out half distance to bunch them all up again.

MrB, if that's the case you may as well just start at half distance. Races are always better when a restart is due with only a few laps to go. Very manic and far more interesting to the spectator/viewer. That is why WSB is so great, two races fewer laps.
After all what do we gain with 57 laps apart from seeing them come round more times. If anything it just spaces the cars out more and just adds to the procession of cars rather than them really racing.
Bernie take a leaf out of WSB's book

Sorry don't agree i think it's good racing, for all you saying "it's two cars racing up front and the rest" is that not Moto GP ? Mercedes has come to the fore this year, for the previous four years it was Red Bull, Mclaren a year,Renault for a couple and Ferrari for the previous six years. As for the engines being a bit quieter ? I race cars myself, you can now hear the true sounds of the cars like tyre squeal, lock ups, cars scraping along the track when braking and when two collide much more intense. The only true 2 or 4 wheel racing i can think of that nobody knows who will be the winner is Nascar, each to their own, for me nothing touch's Aussie V8s it's virtually the same as Nascar for picking a winner. I've been out there seen it and driven Bathurst (when Conrod Straight was a straight). For ALL motorsport is enjoyable, just some is more enjoyable than others that's all. Just like beer !!!

I personally think that the race on Sunday was one of the best I've seen for a few years. Everyone was racing (obviously!) No what I mean is that the changes to the cars have made some of the lesser known drivers competitive and everyone was fighting for the place like they were in a battle for the top of the podium, even if they were back of the field. Reminded me of club racing a bit to be honest. Great to watch!! Love seeing Sebastian Vettel not doing so well too :D

I prefer to experience stuff myself rather than go on hearsay ;)
I agree it was getting a bit boring but these new rules seems to have spiced it up a a bit :)

Even though I think 4 wheels are for pussies, I must admit that the start of the season has been just as good as the motogp start. ok the merc's are blasting everyone away when they are able to finish, but the racing these days is as good as it was many years ago. the last few years has just been utter crap, with the vettel beating everyone and then 10 seconds between every other car...

I loved the way rosberg and hamilton were allowed to race, and did race!!!!

Agreed it was just like the good old days when the GOAT Senna was racing. He may only have 3 world titles but to me he was more of a champion than Vettel could ever dream of being....ever.

well after watching the last race, I take back what I said. First race of the season was absolute pants but WOW, Rosberg and Hamilton toe to toe like that was awesome to see, and it certainly proved that Hamilton was the better driver. He was not letting that win go. Best bit was that Mercedes actually let them race, even though they could have potentially had no finishers at all. That's waht racing is about. Still stand by the disappointment with the lack of noise though
