Clay bar for fall out won't do much at all for scratches, need a find compound. I swear by 3M Finesse it, works a treat on my black tank.

    Or get some techspec/stompgrips.

    Why bother?

You'll only fek it up again with more marks!

Just cover it over with Stomp Grips like ya shulda done in the first place! ;)

Tried various waxes and furniture polish, none do it properly,3m finesse sounds good might try it,stomp grips would solve it of course but not that keen on the look.

Yes I'm also not keen on the look... Looks like that plastic stuff old people have in there hallway to stop the carpet getting soiled :)

Also they don't do any kits for an old banger like mine :(

Yes think I will graham... Don't like the look of it but do find it slippery when hanging off. Will have a look at the stuff Colin recommended.

As said the tech spec stuff has a good bit better looks than the stomp grip!
The stomp grip does just look off when on the bike albeit it does what it says on the tin but I just want it all to keep the looks and give the grip and for me that's the tech spec products!

No tech spec for the 98 blade :( will have to have a look at something which can be cut to shape perhaps..

As others have said, a little compound works wonders, always mop the scuff off that way

If you try M3 Finesse and it works you can get ventureshield pre-cut panels for your bike for £35 mate ;)
It's all but invisible and is mega strong stuff!

    1000 bike paint protection

I've got it the full kit on my bike but you can get the tank kit :) I assume it'll be the same as what I got with the full kit it's 3 panels, one for each side of the tank and a panel where the tank pad sits

    Just a thot mate :D

Oh and you can stick tank pads and stompgrip and the like once it fitted with no issues so it's a no brainer really

Tech Spec is better aesthetically as can be seen on me Blade and is OK for good progress on the Queen's Highway!
Stomps work better at the exstreams of Track Day use or racing hence why they're on the ZX!
