    Morning,

Planning my TT trip. Last year I had a rucksack on my back and another one bungee corded to the tail of my Daytona 675 ( underseat exhaust). Im looking for a tidier option this year. What luggage do you guys recommend and is anyone selling anything?

Also, I've never tried a tankbag but always thought they looked quite intrusive. Bearing in mind the plastic fuel tank cover, what ones do you use and any comments positive or negative?

finally, as an add on. any good recommendations for blue tooth systems? in helmet with Iphone for music/calls/sat nav for touring.

    thanks,
    O

Hi I've just ordered the Ventura system after a lot of comparing and asking around also bought a tank bag which is attached via a bracket on the fuel cap can't comment about the Ventura yet but the Tank bag is fine and you don't really notice it Boo

The best tank bag for styling and quality is SW Motech Quick-Lock Evo Micro. Made in Germany, clicks into place thanks to a tank ring bolted to the tank filler cap. Here's a link:

I have the Evo Micro bag mounted on the seat cowl - see my web for pics: http://www.dogsbollocksdesigns.com/products/tail-pack-mount.html

As for the touring luggage there are two main systems on the market: the Ventura kit (New Zealand) and Kriega (UK). The Ventura is more practical, the Kriega more elegant. I had both and prefer the Ventura.

All of the above is IMO of course :)

Go for Kreiga US 20 tail pack far better to use than back pack/tank bag.
If you need more capacity a US10 on top.
Expensive to buy new but lasts for years and very waterproof.

The tank bag I have for mine Is an oxford lifetime product which comes with straps instead of magnets and fastens under the riders seat and the headstock. I'm also going to the TT and using my tank bag, tail pack and a rucksack just for my tent and sleeping kit.

Renntec Sports Luggage Rack for a 2012 Blade.
Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Motorcycle Carrier / Sports Rack From Renntec

Kreiga Dry Bags (in the pic is a US20 on top of a US30 with a US10 vertically at the rear)
Tail Packs | Luggage | Motorcycle | Home | Demon Tweeks

The Tank Bag is indespensible and doesn't get in the way as you can adjust it forwards and backwards on it's Tanklock mechanism, takes 5 secs to undo and re-fit.
Mines an XS307 and is around £100 including the Tanklock fitting.

Sat Nav is optional and fits in the steering stem.
