hi every body ime new to forum sites.can any body tell me best map to use for power commander v on a 09 fireblade abs fitted with a yoshimura r77 slip on with out db killer fitted and a dynojet o2 eliminator fitted.or if any body has a custom map made for same mods any chance of sending to me.bike is running OK but tick over is crap
Tryed the one on power commander web site,cant find any on cd which came with pcv.i read on another thread about a map somebody sent to them worked realy well.thanks bri
The ones on the Dyno website worked fine for me... ive just installed the same setup as you cbr1000rr 2010 power commander, yoshi r77 slip on, o2 eliminator ect.. i downloaded the correct map installed it and bike runs sweet... my tick over around 1250 rpm is a little up ad down or whats know as hunting.... but its not too bad.. ive tried to lean it or richen it up but it but makes no difference.. Think you will find this is a draw back to having a full straight through open exhaust... if you experiment and put the baffle in not a full install just slip it in the end and the tick over will or shud stabilise as it does on mine... So my conclusion is that it just needs a slight bit of back pressure for it to run sweet on idle..... others on here maybe able to shine more light on this??? Im gona fit a auto tune next week to see if this will sweeten the low down tick over although im not too worried about the tick over too much...
you will have to let me know how you get on with the auto tune.dont realy like the hunting tick over, thats why ime hopeing some body has a costum map they can send me.
Hi I have pc v O2 eliminator k&n R77 carbon baffle out I download map from site and used that for a while then had custom map done only difference was nice and crisp power and throttle response but power curve was all most similar apart from more power low down made 168 bhp at the wheel to start with and 169.8 after. Had a Honda tech try it out yest and said it was alot smoother at low speed but still hunts a little on tick over. The dyno man did warn me that they can be a bit lean without the pc v. But all s good.
I need a map for an R77 stainless system with carbon can, K&N filter and PC5 with autotune. Can anyone direct me to one?
