Welcome fellow North Walian I'm just up the road from you in Llysfaen, part Xed my 2013 Repsol for new SP, not sure if it's sold yet but was in mine condition. Check out Colwyn Bay Motorcycles it still might be there and make sure you haggle the price down as he only give me 8 grand for it which was one and a half grand more than the Kawa or BMW dealers were willing to offer. Twist of the wrist 2 is excellent DVD along with the book. Also if thinking of track days then motovudu is also a good watch.
Welcome buddy, I see you're after a blade in the best colour I'm sure one will turn up , had my 59 reg up for sale on here last month, but couldn't bring myself to part with it good luck with your quest. Jase
Hi Ritchierich, I think your old bike is gone now, I went in colwyn bay honda yesterday and they only had a repsol 600 left in stock, I might have seen your old bike in there a few weeks ago though sat next to a tt legends, but to be honest they were both out of my budget at £9k each iirc. I've just ordered the twist of the wrist book and on the search for the DVD as we speak. Thanks for the recomendations. Motovundu might be handy too as I've spent a bit of time on Anglesey Ty groes and done a load of laps around nurburgring last summer, no doubt once my restriction is up and I've got a new bike I will be getting on a few different trackdays this year, can't wait for both to come around. Thanks for the welcome mate and maybe I'll see you around. Andy B
Thanks a lot for the welcome mate and your bike sounds like it would be perfect for me so feel free to give me a shout if you feel like a change anytime soon. Andy B
If your interested on bike track days RAF Valley would be a good place to start if your get your Repsol, Ty Croes I would say is more of a 600 track having been there twice. Going there in a couple of weeks 5/6th April 100 notes for whole weekend, friendly guys running it, all money goes to charity and what's more some good straights to unleash all them ponies you'll be sitting on. Also there is a Road Bike Only track day at Oulton Park coming up on 24th June
A mate of a mate who does a bit of racing said to give Mona a try, no doubt I will at some point this year, I'll also be booking oulton once my licence allows. I've done ty groes three times on my bike, although the first time I only managed four laps before it got rained off, it's the most rain I've ever seen and probably the worst time it could've happened (I still had to ride home in it lol).
