Evening guys and sorry for another tyre thread!

I currently have the original Pirelli Diablo Corsas (from 2007) on my blade (not Rosso corsas) but I've finally killed the rear so I need new tyres. My problem - budget is about £200 fitted for both.

I use my bike all year round in wet or dry but like a very spirited ride in the dry and have enjoyed the grip the Diablo corsas have given me?

    So far I've seen...

    Or controversially...

Any thoughts? I'd really welcome any advise, I can't afford the 'decent rubber' that you lot usually discuss, sorry, lol!

Although slightly old hat now The Michelin 2ct is still a great tyre both wet and dry with decent mileage these should fit your budget and you won't be disappointed.

Hi mate, how is it going.

I have just fitted Pirelli Rosso Corsas in the 55 profile, they have transformed the bike. Mind you I don't like Dunlops tyres full stop so a lot of doubt was in my head.

I found a place doing those for just over £200 a pair but I cannot find the link now !!

Cheers Giv, I've heard good reviews over the years about them, are they a lot different to the PP's? Mate has just fitted PP's and is currently raving about them, lol!

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT would be my choice too, good all-round tyre.

I see you point but it's a fair amount more that I just can't afford at present :( DRCs are about the same price but as I say I just can't afford that much :(

How would they fare in the wet when commuting? My current rear is bald as in the middle and I can live with that but it's the front I'd worry about? It is tempting, lol!

Not sure if it helps but I remember someone on here quite recently selling a set of new Bridgestone 023's. I ran these all year last year and they were great. Ron Haslam was running them at his school before the T30's. The 023's aren't top of the range now so you should be able to pick them up at a decent price.
