looks like the bloke wasn't short of a quid or 2 ,came in a bloody big motorhome. not worth a claim as if you get found out you will never be able to insure owt again. There are professional photographers at track who put up track day pictures for all to see on their websites ,so i am pretty sure insurance companies would check them. plus bloke went to hospital for a check up so there must be some record of it.
I guess we all track bikes we can afford to lose really, or we wouldn't be doing it without insurance
It's a shame to see any bike like that, but at least the rider was ok except for a big dent in his wallet
It does Look pretty terminal but have you seen the price of salvage bikes, some fetch silly money. I'd much rather take a 10k loss than be run through the courts and be made an example of. I'm not a wealthy man but it is only money. Get found out for a fraudulent claim and you'd wish you hadn't.

i spend far more on a track bike than i ever would on a road bike,if i crash it,i fix it,simple as that. oh and the reason being,it's far more fun to ride the arse off your bike on track
A bit off topic I know but as I rally cars for a living I know that most cars are insured. A £200K Subaru WRC will cost about £3k to insure for a two day event plus shipping with a excess of £15K so not bad! Just like a £20K Duke insured for £300 with a £1500 excess. I was once testing a brand new GpN car that the driver had just paid £140K for the previous day and that got destroyed in a fire following a small accident. Full payout within 7 days!
