Just out of interest what fireblade do you have and welcome. A strange one that you replied to this before saying hi on the newbie board. but also highlighted the problems many have I know have had with the other lift. I feel that 1 happy customer (poss a person working in the company or having some connection. I may be wrong) will not make others buy something that costs more than similar products and again with a company that in one or or another has connections with a company with a poor reputation for after service. I feel many including me would ONLY buy from a company that has a good reputation. So thanks for highlighting this thread again

Another coincidence is the fact you managed to join the forum read through 5 months worth of posts on a very busy forum to come across this one and write a large reply and post it all within 30 mins. I have a CBR900rr - SC28, thanks for the welcome. As you may have gathered I am not a forum user, the negative comment was discussed when we were out at weekend and I do know of the company as I said in my previous post so I thought it was only fair to mention my experience. As for FGH they are my daughters initials, I didn't realise when posting this would happen, I will gladly get a photo over this weekend

I love this forum better than the CB1000R one !!! And i now have a Honda CB1000R...... Its like an episode of Morse or Foyle's War. I have been looking at these stands and when i called Demon Tweeks about the Warrior i was told the maker (Chinese) did not make the bobbins for my bike ! Oh right then, i guess i will do what i intended to do and get the Abba Skylift... pricey yes, but at least i am sure of the build quality and have been using their products for years, you do often get what you pay for, and in the case of Envy and other ' bargain bucket' examples its sometimes not what you want !
Been looking at these stands now for the last couple of weeks, even watched the demo at the Manchester show but thank you FGH for resurrecting this thread, i must have missed it... Thank you to Martin for pointing out the dangers of buying from con-men.......

I ve read many a good review about the other makes mentioned.......and I don't mean to offend but the envy lift I received was a complete pile of crap...... I even tried Steve Betts redesigned plate and pins..... but I could nt get on with it (The welding was crap) and it did nt sit square on the floor...the retaining pin did nt look strong enough for major support..... I think its either you do..... or either you don't with these lifts....... personally I don't..... but what pissed me off was the complete shite customer service that had been most impressive at the Bike Show when I saw the demos..... If this is the type of lift that suits......try the abba SKY Lift..... far superior in design in my opinion....
I believe also the 1Jack-me-off lift is the best part of £400 as well. Whilst the Warrior one I have may not be the best engineered piece of kit I've bought it works and only cost £120
What a Bell end FGH was! he would;d of won more respect if he had been honest and tried to persuade us with offers and customer service. Instead of dealing in Bullcak and self promo. If Martinowen doesn't have any of these badges ill be gobsmacked! nice one martin do like a bullshitter exposed.
