After deciding to ship my 08 blade from Iceland to the UK tried to change speedometer from KPH-MPH,seems only possible if bike is a (E TYPE) which it is not, will be re-registering in uk and regulations demand speedo shows MPH.
Thought of buying another speedo in uk and fitting it, is this a possibility without to much hassle, anyone with suggestions ??

    Picture has now been added.;)

sinewave the problem here is there is no cash,( just ash from the last volcano ) i have had some offers but where far to low,
im not prepared to give it away just because i am moving.
The other prob is its the norm here to take p/x plus cash .. dont want that either, and i have put most of the usual bling on the bike, saying all that the money i got from selling here would mean i could only buy a crap bike in the uk.;)

    Welcome
There's a couple of ways to upload pics

I upload to photobucket and copy and paste the image code into the text box
    Or
Look at the top of the text box, you will see a strip of icons 3rd from the right is a pic frame (next to a film strip) click the frame and then browse computer, then upload....... Job done

Miles? WTF? They allow LHD, dodgy US style rear lights and then demand an out dated obsolete measurement system based on the length of some dead soldiers stride?

Can't you just leave it as an overseas registered vehicle? Lots of others do from the evidence presented along the embankment every day...

HP4 Carbon, new Blade or if you want to scratch that twin itch, an 899 Minigale.

Well there is plenty of choice, it looks a buyers market in the uk unlike here in Iceland.
The Honda dealer here just imported the new SP Fireblade ...price tag equivalent to 20k. Have my eye on a couple of KTM RC8R , I just fancy a change, arrive next week and will find something im sure.

Anyone with input on the RC8R, god bad points.
