Schuberth's have a great reputation for being quiet, from experience shoei aren't bad but arai are noisy

May seem an odd suggestion but how about good ear protection?
That way helmet will be quiet too?
I am going down the Ultimate Ear route, expensive altho I have had an ear op and don't want them getting any worse.

tried loads of different earplugs find them all painful and distracting after about half an hour .even tried the ones that mould to your ear shape, they have long since gone in the bin.

As others have said Schuburth are always rated as a quite lid.

As for ear plugs I used to wear ultimate ears, the ones with built in headphones, but ears changed shape and after 4 years they didn't work as well. I now use Shure SE215 headphones with Comply P Series tips so that I can have scamera alerts and gps directions from my mobile.

I've tried most brands over the years, the schuberth is definitely the quietest, the arai is a better fit but noisier and the latest one a shoei gt air has a bloody air brake sized vent on top of it which causes whistling when you lift out of the bubble.

My solution is ACS hearing defenders, custom moulded in a nice soft rubber with a tiny loop to remove them, used by lots of pro riders and f1 types, cost about £120. The proof is in the fact that I get annually hearing checked at work, and haven't had a drop in hearing ability since I started using them about ten years ago.

Plus I got to see the inside of Suzi Perry's ear.

I have a Schuberth C3 which is quiet, plus it's small and light.

Not an RX7 GP... Can't you just wear earplugs and get whatever you want?
