Hi, I'm a girl - well prob a bit too old to call myself a girl now. I have met tons of lady bikers in the last year through Curvy riders MCC - have a look at their website. I'm in Suffolk, so nowhere near you but there is bound to be a group near you and they arrange rideouts and stuff. If you are on facebook there are a few groups for girls with lots of threads about what gear fits and what bikes are low etc. Lots ride decent bikes and very few are pink, lol. Try 'Woman on a Motorcycle', there are even some Ladies only track days organised by this group. Talking of leathers - I am 5'3", size 10 and have a really comfy Dainese Two piece. In textiles I have WOLF XS mens and they are great as they have bits that adjust to make the sleeves a tighter fit depending what you wear underneath so they look 'shapely'.
I sometimes scream like a girl inside my lid if someone pulls out on me - does that count? Apart from that I'm all for more lady bikers around here, as long as they don't start talking about shoes and handbags that match their leathers etc....
Is it really wrong to want to go and sign up for Curvy riders??? What?? its no worse than blade riders buying beemers lol
I was out allday sunday with a few female riders , I just kept up with them , but I did not know the roads well . Had a great day !
Haha just caught up with this thread and thank you for your few kind comments !! Bucket of frogs ? Where did that come from ??? On the leathers front I wear blokes cos they have far more protection than woman's Manufacturers seem to think that us ladies land better on the Tarmac which isn't the case when osteoporosis sets in !! Drop my wife a PM on here she's BarnesyChick she got her RST Blade Leathers through and is similar size to you a bit taller at 5'7 but they fitted her nicely and they look mint you won't be disappointed plus they say Blade on them so if you have a Fireblade even better!
Hey, She got them from Essex bikers centre in Braintree my mate runs/owns it with his son You walk I'm he tells you to turn round and then gives you a pair that will fit spot on 99% of the time He does new and used but all top quality and very good prices He has a great eBay selection aswell but can't beat going and seeing him in person he has a great selection
