Going to change to braided brake lines but there are so many different makes which do people recommend.
Hel seem to be the lines of choice on the forum, ive got them and noticed the difference after they were fitted
HEL brake lines are very good indeed, there are a few suppliers on the forum, I bought mine from Arthurbikemad but Bikers discount store, BikebitsNI and Demon tweeks do them as well
Everyone on here has HEL and they are a forum supplier so why not do something different! I have Venhills and Goodridges are also good
It's a proven quality mark of a motor part Jimbo, probably useful with essential components like brake systems but who am I to suggest you should use best quality components on essential systems....
I will be round later to talk you through the valve cap removal proccess Nav... Will do the front today, dont want to jump on in and confuse you with the rear as well !!
Remember we have normal valve caps mate, not made from some Unicorn's horn to save weight. So a little less complex, one day should be fine
Hel front race config and rear with SBS excel pads had totally transformed my Blade braking no end!!... Loads more feel and bite!.. I can actually lock my back wheel at will I got my lines from Biker Discount Store on here really good price
I'd be interested in some braided lines, can someone explain the pros & cons of the different routing please. Thanks Ozz
I remember putting Goodridge lines on my old 97 blade and loved the transformation. I will definitely be putting braiders on mine later.
