New member and first post. Great site.

Want to get some work done to my Blade and wondered if anyone could recommend a good mechanic in the East Sussex area? Want to get a Racefit fitted and some other bits and don't fancy the usual mad dealership hourly rates and not necessarily the best work!
    Many thanks

If Arthur is too far, I've heard good things about SBS in lancing, he does a lot of race bike set ups. You can get the train home too.

It would only end in tears...

More work for the first couple of year no doubt mate, but it'll soon pay off.

Apart from the exhaust what's the other stuff you want fitted?

If Arthur is stacked up, you could always try Everest motorcycles in uckfield. It's run by my mate Terry, and he used to be Honda and Yamaha main dealer. Very good hourly rates and like Arthur's, the kettles usually on! He's just moved to a posh new unit on the industrial estate rather than the place at framfield. There is no train home from there but he does have a courtesy bike you can book up.

If people near me are stuck and need help then I can always try and fit people in around other jobs, punctures, tyre fitting and so on, it's just booking jobs thats a problem, exhaust fitting should only be an hours work for someone. I love the idea of passing work on to others when over booked like now and its great news that small workshops are getting a slice of the work load.

Thanks for the recommendation. Uckfield is not far from me a and good ride out on some nice roads. Will give them a call. I think its great to use small workshops and move from dealerships and will support the small business every time.
