bought the 07 superduke as cat d winter project in 09 repaired it and got it on the road march 09, only did 2k miles on it in the time I had it which ended one summer night in July 09, was riding through Slaidburn on the small twisty B roads that it was most suited to IMO. Anyway I was giddy as fook and riding it like a mx bike ( twat) over the jumps etc which was nice :D until a long (ish for that road) l/h bend with a banking on the left and gassing it hard out of there whilst looking further up the road I didn't see the gravel and blobs of concrete on the road so highsided it at 70 ish, bashed me knee a bit bike was just about rideable 25 miles home, sold it cat c at a loss but was v lucky because when I was picking the bike up a tractor and trailer was coming the other way  it put me off riding on the road for a bit and I went back to dirt bikes ,still got a ktm 300 but my blades the favourite bike of all I've had up to now I think 4k miles in 3 months has been buzzin, I know it's a 10 yr old bike but I really wanted one 10yrs ago when I had zx6r g1 and the rr4 came out but I couldn't afford so living the dream now lol and keen as to get out on it was up at 4 am yesterday for 250 blast/tour of Lake District before all the traffic clogs up the flow! Kin love it :D
