I take my g/f pillion almost everywhere with me but since I got the RR7 in December I've had an issue with fairing damage. The sides of the tail fairing flare out massively and are attacked quite severely by her boots when riding. I've tried generic clear/black plastic sheet but the angle of the curves mean this comes away and harbors more crap in the adhesive. I've tried thinner and more flexible tape but this just gets scratched away. Obviously boots with a felt like inside will help but interested to here what you guys have used? As a last resort I've just spent £20 on Oxford Paint Saver as I've read some good reviews.

Or get a big roll of 3M Venture Shield/Paint Protection Film and cover up the Stiletto attack points ;)

Also, a Rentec pillion grab handle will stop her crushing the seat into the tail piece.

Thanks chaps. Yep got the grab rail.. I've also seen that Honda protector kit before but it doesn't seem to fully cover the area the boot rubs. I'll whack the Oxford stuff on and failing that I'll try some Venture Shield. -cheers
