Boots Soft Silicone Earplugs | 3 Pairs | Reusable - Boots I've tried these before getting custom plugs, they were very good. Heat them up by rolling them between fingers and put them in. It will sound like an electric bike lol
If you can't get on with any earplugs maybe try some cotton wool rolled up, as for gear if you don't mind a trip to Swindon there is a large shop there that may stock what you like. Motorcycle Helmets, Clothing, Leathers, Jackets, Gloves, Boots and Accessories - Mega Motorcycle Store
I have a HJC i17 lid that I bought about 6 months ago, it's a lot quieter than my old flip front but anything over 60mph and it's still noise city, the zorst kicks out 125db and wind noise drowns that out easily. I get ear-plugs from work for free, really soft silicon ones that you roll and insert into the lug-hole ... I never ride without them these days, I used to and was a bit concerned that they would affect my balance on the bike, but as I'm not getting deafened now I can concentrate totally on riding the thing.

I never liked mine much but I have had several quantums and now have an RX-Q and a Vector 2. The RX-Q is probably the best option in my opinion.
Bikes need to be dropped to Flyblink tomorrow - still need to pack and attach luggage to the bike... Just realized my rear Tyre is not legal as the bikes been in the garage since the last track day....shit!
