The names Iain I live in sunny Aberdeenshire from Fort William originally. I have just taken delivery of my first ever Fireblade and I love it what a bike it is really enjoying it even though I have 600 miles to run it in still before I can use it in anger. I have only been riding road bikes for 3 years first road bike was a ZX6r J2 I loved that bike really good all rounder and cheap as chips, I kept it for 2 years and sold it for 200 more than I payed for it so not a bad bike at all Next up is a Ducati 848 which I still have as I have started to get into track days so its being turned into a track toy. I have spent a load of money on it from exhausts to Ohlins forks and shock, 30deg offset triple clamps, different gearing, remaping carbon everything so I would never get the money back so might as well just keep it and use it on track. I will be looking to change a few bits like the exhaust and fit a hugger and tail tidy as soon as really, but one thing I noticed on the Honda parts list was they dont sell a hugger for a ABS model as the ABS unit is under the seat or some guff about it being hit by the hugger. So if anyone can point me in the direction of one that fits that would be greatly appreciated. Anyway if I know forums pics are a must The ZX6r The Ducati The New Blade Anyway cheers in advance and I look forward to having a good look about the forum Iain
Hi and welcome to the forum mate. King Carbon do a Hugger specifically for the ABS model. I have one on mine and is rather nice. If you speak to Andy from Demon Tweeks he'll see you alright for a forum discount
Yeah I know the score on Forums it never happened without a pic and all that Ehh yes that would be me. Is that a Fireblade SP owner I am talking to if it is this Fireblade is your fault after seeing that SP in the showroom that day I have not been able to get them out of my head so had to have one. Love this place already warm welcomes and discounts on a first day I am already impressed
Fit like Iain, from another one who spells the name the right way Then again I am from Keith, spent most of my "youth" in Fort Augustus, before moving away, still miss it up there.
Hi and welcome Iain. I've just joined too and am a former Kawasaki man turned first-time Fireblade owner myself You'll love it even more once you've run it in!
