Hi everyone, My name is Don and I own a 2011 Repsol ABS, just about to fit Yoshi Carbon R77 and looking for instructions on fitment. Thanks heaps
Hi Don, Welcome to the forum. You can download them from Yoshimura R&D: Slip-on http://www.yoshimura-rd.com/images/product/pdf/1202202.pdf Full system http://www.yoshimura-rd.com/images/product/pdf/1201102.pdf
Thanks heaps, i do have this PDF but was wondering if there was anymore detail on getting into servo via tailpeice? I have done many exhaust before but none with servo. I do hear ABS models are different?? as ABS modual is under tail peice and in the way. I suppose only one way to find out! Thanks dude!
Hi don. Ive got family in your neck of the woods emIgrated in 75 from uk. Somewhere near Auckland . Hope your enjoying the blade.
Sorry Don, I've got a non-ABS blade. Fitting only took me an hour. Best check the manual to see how to get to the exhaust servo.
Hi Don Welcome to the site! When I fitted my R77 it was quite simple to disconnect the servo ( non abs ) three plastic screws under the tail, wind servo wheel back, disconnect cable, put servo back where it was and hey presto
Hey Don. servo is just the same on the ABS model. The panel under the tail unit is just a different shape and size. IIRC there are 3 plastic screws under the tail unit and two at each side holding the cover on (may be one each side). I have done this on both ABS and NON ABS - its a breeze. I lived just outside of Wellington (Johnsonville) from 1974-78. Where abouts are you?
Don we got to have some pics of the roads where you live and ride. NZ always looks an amazing place to go. And what is it, morning for you now
Hi, Yes morning now. I live in Auckland so have to ride a good 20km or so of highway before I reach any good riding roads. Our road surfaces can vary and Im afraid when a repair is done it is never swept afterwards and can be dangerous on a corner! (asphalt) Some beautiful riding in NZ but I am afraid the cops here are hard on sports bike riders! I have just lost license for 28 days being 41km over speed limit! 1km less and I would of just got a fine only!
Thanks Dude, I will find some and post at some stage. New to this so will have to sort out how to post pic!
Many Thanks, Great riding around Wellington area! I am in Auckland. How do they run without Power Commander? Thanks again!
