For rods you can call HM Quickshifters direct or HM Racing or if still stuck I can get you sorted, don't forget Toby aka Ben from HM Quickshifters can be contacted from here too by PM.
Thanks buddy, I have dropped them a quick email as I have the rest of the week to get the info together.
You will love this thing Simon. It's the shizz. I wouldn't trade mine for anything. And oh the sound it makes.
Thanks buddy. I think I have sourced the loom and shift rod (from my Dynojet QS). Looking forward to getting it.
When you get it make sure it has firmware version 1.1 and you have the 1.1 control software for your computer. I'm sure it does though. I have had a few issues with first to second gear. I would recommend you set your first to second time at 85ms and your HMSS time to 50ms to start off with for 1 to 2nd. I had issues with not using HMSS shift for that gear change.
Just bought the SH Loom but there is a plug on the HM GP which links for the HM GP Speed/LIN/RPM connection. Do I need one of these cables too?
It connects to the gearbox speed sensor (VSS/BLUE) and the crank position sensor/pulse output (RPM/YELLOW), required to ID gear position, it will work without it just won't know what gear, there is an option to use one kill time etc for all gears FYI. Manual is on HM site mate, instructions are there.
There seems to be two cable options 1) HM Quickshifter Mating Half To S Option 2)HM Quickshifter Mating Half to D Option I assume it's option 1? Got the manual off the site and occurred to me something was missing when I was getting the tools together to install tomorrow grrr!
It will still work without that lead mate, albeit with reduced functionality until you get one sorted. The GP's the only QS that has this lead, it's used to determine wheel speed and gear.
Ah, its for you, that was sent out today RF first class Just so you know, each GP Shifter order is unique depending on whats specified and ordered at the point of order. Everything is an add on for the GP
