Well my winter mods and upgrades have started early this year due to a deer running out in front of me just over a week ago, so am starting my upgrades earlier than planned this year but wondered what other members of the forum might be doing over the winter? Mine are as follows Matt carbon fairings HID headlights Lithium battery Plus getting the Akra headers paired up to fit the racefit
HM GP Quickshifter Renthal sprockets and chain Some Probolt goodies Honda E comfort seat(cos i'm getting old)
I currently have the following sitting in my garage waiting to be put on over winter: New L/h wing mirror cover as there is a small hairline crack on mine Renthal R4 SRS chain and sprocket kit Titanium sprocket bolts Front and rear Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tyres Getting my powerbronze seat re-upholstered to black (currently its in HRC colours - white, blue and red and I don't like it) Bendix MRR sintered pads for front brakes Racefit black edition exhaust Renthal medium compound race grips On the 'to get' list - ASV levers Honda Racing raised screen Honda Racing rear hugger to replace my powerbronze carbon one SP seat cowl And that would be done. Bearing in mind I am still deciding on whether to keep the bike... it may be a case of copying and pasting all this into the for sale section in a couple of months
Just fitted an Evotech tail tidy and rad guard, Termignoni Ti can and link pipe to match the Ti headers due tomorrow, going to fit those then that's me done .
I've run a lithium battery all year and was not that much more expensive than a normal one.. and about 3kg lighter! CBR 1000 RR Fireblade 2007 Lithium-Ion Motorcycle Battery | eBay

I went balls out last week on it and fitted most of my winter stuff already so I think I will just polish it and look at how nice it is instead.
