    hello

gents what temp does the bike go up to
    i have a 2004 fireblade
and if i am stationary fan comes on just after 100C as normal but unfortunately temp still increases gradually
i let it run on my drive for 5 6 minutes after ride yesterday and it went up to 116 is this normal ffor bike to get that hot

my other bikes fan kicks in and as soon as fan kicks in you can see the temp dropping
but woth the fireblade fan just works all the time specially if i am stationary

    any ideas
i was scared to keep it idle on my drive 116 is very hot

my mate has a cbr600 f 2002 with 90.000 miles on the clock and his fan works and dropps the temparature than kicks in again when hot but seems like mine doesnt cope with it

A strange occurrence on my RR4 starting from cold take the revs to 2100 roll off the fan kicks in. Seen this phenomenon on two other RR4. Check rad for crud kicked up by the front wheel, if blocked the fan cannot draw heat away from the grill

The temp should not increase to that level when at tickover on a coolish day, the fan should cope.
