Yesterday as i got home i noticed the fuel light come on,today when i got home from work i got bike and put £10 in the tank i got about 200 yards out of the petrol station and it conked out as if it had ran out of petrol,i flattened the battery trying to start it again,
ive got it home and put some charge in the battery only to have it go flat again, the fuel warning light is still on eventhou i have just put a tenner in it
anyone got any ideas ? i dont have much spare cash atm so i dont want to have it in a garage if its something i could do myself
    Thx

    ohh btw its a 2009 blade :)

Have you spoken to the petrol station? Could be an iffy delivery.

I'm reasonably sure the fuel light normally needs the bike rode for a specific distance to reset, eg go out. The 200 yards may have not been enough.

    Is the fuel pump priming?

If not the above has some crappy fuel clogged the fuel lines from bottom of tank?
