Given that I have a Repsol conventional polish can leave white powder in the decal edges so I have previously used Ice polish, however, I nipped in to halfords to find they no longer stock the product so I bought Muck off quick polish, it's an aerosol that can be used on you plastics, paint and screen, I have to be honest a quick spray polish off and the bike looks great. Fantastic shine in seconds and no white residue, intact the plastics come up beautiful too, go get some and try it, it's very good:)

Not tried the quick polish but used their miracle shine with carnauba wax and it gives really good results with very little effort.
Currently using meguiars ultimate range since buying new blade, what a shine:cool:

That's exactly what I have been doing for a quick fly removal and polish but this product is much better, give it a go.

And no I do not have shares in Muck Off;)

I currently use the WD40 wax and shine and i must say it works well. Not shiny as other products but it leaves a nice film on it.

Carl Finish Kare 1000HP is good stuff as is Dodo Juice wax. When I do mine and get white around the decals a soft small brush removed the wax/polish left and no time.

Its the Venture shield edged I have problems with white residue, Ill make a note of these product for when the Muck off runs out. I only went to town on the bike after a recent Honda open day when they tried to get me to buy a new blade, mine is only two years old and I new if I polished it up the temptation to buy a new one would subside;)

I have venture shield as well but find with a small soft/medium brush it removes what is left of the waxes. I also use Dodo Juice red mist after and this may help to remove what is left as well

The muck off stuff is really a quick detailer, great to use between waxes.... infact can be used as a less "longterm wax"

that red mist is the same.... good stuff only downer is i can t find a local shop to just go buy it.

i used the dodo juice red
