Hi everyone could anybody put me in the right direction of getting a connector for the exhaust servo socket after removal of the servo, got hold of one but seems to be only 4 connector holes where as mine has 6 many thanks Boo

All the servo does is open and close a flap for noise emissions in the exhaust, it doesn't create any power if it did all the Wsb teams would have stock honda zorsts
Hi All. I have a problem with the servo on my RR7. I made the classic mistake of moving the servo while I was removing the cables. Now I have the FI light on. I have bought a servo buddy ready to replace it but this doesn't seem to work until the servo has been reset to it's correct position. How do I go about this?! Thanks in advance
Dave the servo can be accessed under the rear of the bike.. beside the key for the rear seat / cowl. One screw from memory and you can turn the servo to to the correct starting position..
Yes I've found it fine, i've been turning it and switching on the ignition but no luck. Which direction and how far do I turn it??
Ahh.. good question. I take it you have tried several times then to position it to what you think was the original position? Strange that the servo buddy hasn't switched the light off, or moving the servo motor itself. I don't know the correct position of the servo motor, but I guess its just trial and error. I suspect that something else is wrong here.. When I got rid of my motor, the light was on but just added in a home made servo buddy and the light then went off.. no reset required.....
I've fitted a power commander as I've changed the exhaust and filters, that's all set up fine. My problem arose when I moved the servo. I've been trying for ages now to reset it and getting a bit frustrated. Do dealers have a reset tool or can it be done through the ecu?
Perhaps next time someone takes the cover off their servo cover off they can confirm. I just changed my exhaust yesterday and i can confirm the end cable part was at around 12 o'clock position when bike was warm. Around 30mins later when i swiched on to check for the dash light it moved to another position for starting.
I've tried disconnecting the battery, no luck with that. I did replace to o2 sensor on the right hand side, replacement came with the PCV, could this be triggering the light?!
Try an ecu reset. Search on here for the correct sequence but I think it is: Disconnect battery for at least 10 mins. Reconnect battery. Start engine without touching the throttle. Allow engine to run until fan kicks in, again don't touch the throttle. Stop the engine with the kill switch.
