Well thinking before we see the video I'm guess Stoner is feeling that everyone would miss him when he retired to race ozzy V8's and that Marc came in no one did? just guessing.
I reckon that Casey would be only too pleased to see somebody universally adulated as the most precocious and prehensile MotoGP rider since... What's his name.........ummm, Oh bugger.....what was he called.... that bloke that had that terrible gluten reaction.....rode really well... actually won races on a Ducati.......What was his bloody name again...

Agree amazing rider. But I feel the same about Jorge and Dani. I know it's about what you do on track But for me it's just as important how you deal with your fans and how you come across.
Whilst good to watch on track I never enjoyed watching him be interviewed. Well apart from maybe the one time at Lugna Seca when he spat the dummy out after a race with Rossi. I don't imagine Stoner would have enjoyed racing against MM.
Would love to see stoner & marques on track together , just leave stoner out of the interview afterwards
stoner never got credit? everyone says he was one of the best, not sure how that can mean he never gets the recognition he deserves? i think the difference is he gave up early,so we'll never know how many c/ships he could have won.
Ha ! Stoner thread part 2 but with new blood The trouble is whilst we all lap up MM and VR for skills and winning abilities we never really got Stoner mainly because of that snide crying arse face. The flip side I can't really say that I have ever seen MM with a long face .It is a shame for the most of us ( armchair pundits) that we have negative memories of such a top and talented rider .
Wow you guys really bought into the Stoner hate. From an Australian perspective, he was just being plain, and he is an introvert. Vale was a devious prick that had 'inspired' the Italian media to question Stoners' ability in 2007 and popularising the opinion that it was just the bike that allowed him to win after only a few races. The commentators were defending Stoner by just the third round in 2007. That said, Vale did exactly the right thing in 2008 at Laguna Seca. He went out there to win and it worked.
I wish i had as much riding tallet as Stoner has in his little finger. oh wouldnt mind my fingers on/in Mrs Stoner either !
