Looking to buy a number plate..DVLA have it for £600, checking the net allot of other companies offer the same plate for £40 more..(inc transfer to a car)

Is the best and cheapest place to buy from DVLA direct? Or shall I carry on shopping around?

    Anyone know

Shop around Sam, the same plate might well be for sale on a number of sites, just watch the small print and the transfer price and if vat is applicable.

DVLA say the price they quote is price fitted to the car..

Other sites are cheaper..but by the time you include the £80 transfer fee the price goes above what DVLA have the plate for..

    Will check few more site's

If you buy from DVLA you know it's legitimate.
The price they say is all in, so personally I would buy from DVLA.

After your purchase you get a certificate. You complete details and send off documents. Then wait for confirmation its well within two weeks. I kept checking bike details on the dvla website and it took a week. Changed plates over and after a few days the official paperwork arrived. Quite easy to be honest
