don't know if i should get the bike lacquered or just sealed with a composite sealer it can look a little fake if its too glossy.here is the rest of the bike as you can see its panels are 100% authentic hm plant parts as i bought the moulds some time ago.

I own a composites business making f1 parts to exhaust tubes I've wanted to make a set for years and have finally got a bike. The seat unit does look big but is the genuine article.
Looks good mate. Just a question for u as u must know what ur on about where's carbon concerned. Why don't they use carbon wheels in Moto gp ?
The seat unit only looks big in isolation as there are no exhausts fitted yet. Reckon it'll look spot on once they're fitted. Nice work Geoff

Oooo nice. Although I think a Zeus fastener might save a bit of weight compared to mole grips.... I wonder if a CRC moulded foam seat would fit straight onto that? Matt finish for me too.
Mole grips are a real favourite of mine I've been brought up them from an early age. As for the seat pad I do need to sort one out soon, ideally a nice rounded edge. If anyone knows any information on the original race items I would love to hear from you. Many thanks for your interest.
seat unit is fully bonded and sealed this is a really nice part the mesh finishes the job,hopefully when the other parts are finished they will look just as good.
