    I'll start it off.

Avid fan of Guy Martin. Genuine, down to Earth individual who's not afraid to push himself to the limits of any given task.....What a guy!

    Great TV viewing :)

Never met him but never really heard a bad word about him. Would happily make him a brew if he popped by whilst the kettle was on.

Met Guy a few times at the TT - and it really genuine, have some good pics somewhere

He does / has been known to really throw his toys out the pram but think he has calmed down in recent years

No way as daft as he maybe makes out - pretty switched on business head with Red Torpedo clothing and developing the whole 'Guy Martin' Brand with TV etc.

It's a Marmite job ! Most times at the TT he doesn't give a crap about his fans then comes good on TV and another batch of fans come into the fold. 50/50 at the moment but admire the guts and skill.

I've met him, well not really bumped into him walking through the TT paddock. Not sure that counts as meeting him.

He signed my helmet, I like him

He covering his arse well with the TV stuff.....I bet he s the envy of many ex pros who have floated into the wilderness...... but you have to have a personality to get on and he certainly has one hell of those........

From what I've seen from him he 'seems' like a good guy and definitely a character.

I have however heard some on the contrary remarks about him, when being approached.

He's a legend. Speaks his mind and clearly very passionate about engineering of all kinds. He comes across as being genuinely down to earth, but not attracted by fame and the limelight. He actively tries to avoid publicity when out and about (unless he's plugging a book or something), so not surprised he can be a little unapproachable sometimes. Would love to sit down for a brew with him - top bloke!

From what Ive sen of the man (never met him) he comes across as a down to earth, hard working, nutcase with a scatty personality.
Yep, I like him, He's compelling viewing a perfect antidote to the Towie type shit they spoon feed us!

Ill send you his book col, it's a good read, but also goes into that... He has Asperger syndrome which is form autism so he can struggle with social / group situations etc which are not in his comfort zone or hasn't got his head round...

Certainly explains some of his quirkiness I guess...

I think he's great, good fun, comes across a good bloke, and up for anything!! Certainly beats xfactor.... Aint bad on bike either lol

Gets slated a bit on tdr sometimes but I've never met him or seen in paddock so can't comment....

Bring it to the NEC mate and I'll send it back to you once read.

I did hear that he had mental issues that he struggles with the social side of things.
