Is that a bad thing or?! Are they not as good or something?! Surely better than stock tho?

'Real' brembos? So these aren't real brembo I assume is what you mean. Which I hate to say it like this mate but is incorrect.

Lol ok then. Anyway yes these use the brembo m4 pads as well. I would say they wouldn't be as good as the m4 monoblocs because these only have a piston diameter of 32mm whilst m4's are 34mm. Which sounds small on paper but translates much bigger in practice. I would assume you would have to be a certain level of rider to be able to tell tho of which I know I'm not if im 100% honest.

These type of callipers made for manufactures are normally made to a budget and differ slightly to the real macoy.. I would be careful as probably not "quite" as good a genuine after market Brembos

I certainly agree with that statement. It was just the 'they aren't real brembos' that I was trying to decipher. Certainly made by the same company but not as good as the aftermarket product. But better than stock. Is what I think.

Would S1000rr Brembo M4s fit the blade? (Without/With the factory 5mm spacers)

Nope. Spacing on them between the 2 mounting bolts is different. 100mm as opposed to 108.

When he says not real brembo he means not racing brembo which is what you think when you see the name.

Sure theyre not bad calipers but to be honest theyre not worth forking over money if your OEM ones are in good nick. You think standard calipers are that bad I dare you to outbrake any superstock 1000 rider with whatever caliper you want and see how you fare.

I just sold my brembo HPK's which are supposedly alot better than those above. The calipers were gorgeous and really well made. Every detail down the the embossed pistons was leagues above the standard honda ones but you know what, the outright braking power isnt a world apart.... just not as instant.

If you want calipers for bling, thats no shame. Do it. Admit it but dont buy these thinking theyll make all the difference in the world.

    Just my 2c

    Youre asking the wrong question.

Ofcourse they are M4 but are they "True" brembo? Imo NO cause brembo are racing calipers and no race team chooses M4's to run. They dont offer a significant increase over OEM, theyre just bling for road bikes to sell sell sell. Thats just my 2c. Dont take it personally because I think theyre a waste of money. Theres plenty on my bike im sure you'd think is a waste. I used to own these so im not oblivious to brembo stuff

I was able to do a massive stoppie before crashing outside a police station with standard calipers!
