Does anyone have any recommendations on new sprockets? And will I notice a big difference? I'm talking + and - teeth....?

How about -1 front and +2 back?! Heard that's a good setup if you do a lot of commuting..... Thoughts?!

I have -1F +2R, keeps the chain about the same length and therefore the wheelbase, not noticed any extra chain wear, but its used mostly on track, -1F +2R is approximately the same ratio as +3.5R only if you have a 55 R tyre, (+4.5R on a 50 tyre) and gives even more pull/fun ;) :D

but clearly at that ratio it revs higher at any given speed and so your mpg will tend to drop, for just road I think i would stick to just +2R

And this is just for the 04/05 we are talking right?! I have the 05 and bought some wheels with a 43t on the back which means it's +3. Pulls much better so was interested to know what -1F +2R would be like.

Like some of the others I'm using Renthal +2 rear -1 front on the road bike. +4 rear -1 front on the track bike.

I use Talon or Renthal, both seem good :)

OEM chain of the 08 and later models gives you +2 at the rear and gives better wear than a lot of the after market stuff which are made from cheese. If been thru many Renthal sprockets and whilst I like the look, I don't like the durability.
