My older blades the panels were easy to remove and put back on...

Can some one tell me how the hell do I get the fairing off on the 09 blade?

Need to do a oil change..also change the headlights...

    With great difficulty :D

You can change the oil just without taking the fairings all off, wiped off the belly pan and loosen the right fairing bolts and should have enough space to get to filter and sump plug.

Top cowl is a bit more complicated, do you need a workshop manual? If so give me a shout as have a pdf copy I can send you

    ^^ wot SPS said!

First time you will need to consult the manual, loads of hidden fasteners and tabs designed by an origami master!
I found this as great help for general maintenance FireBladerDk

Once you do it the next time is much easier.

My advice is take your time, if necessary take photos for reference. Also try to avoid doing it in the cold, in the warm the plastics are much more compliant and less likely to break.

It's an absolute pig of a job! I've got mine off at the moment, awaiting to go back on when I can build up the motivation to do it.

There's instructions on how to get them off in chapter 3 of the Service Manual: http://1000rr.co.uk/maintenance/119-4.htm#post315599

One tip I found useful from a Youtube vid I watched was to get freezer or sandwich bags and a marker pen and to put the screws and nuts/bolts from each panel into their own bag and write on it where they came from.

Definitely daunting on first attempt but a doddle on the 5th attempt.OE panels are very pliable and bend easily into place.
WORD OF WARNING if you change to aftermarket fairings tell the dealer or mechanic that they're aftermarket fairings cos they can break the tabs off the bottom of the fairings where they're not very pliable.I had to drill and put popper clips in mine. The dealer delivered mine with broken fairing tabs and didn't tell me.

Have to buy and swap over the right broken panel...and need to get nose cone off...

Will check the links when I get to a computer..

Do I need to take other panels off to get the nose cone off?

Try this link Valve Clearance Inspection - CBR1000RR8 DIY
It's a complete write up with photos for a valve clearance check but the first part is how to remove the fairings. It's a right job but the write up and photos really help.
    Good luck Steve

Trying not to pick holes in someone's hard work, but unless I have missed a bit, it says warm the bike up to a 1200 idle.
Maybe there is a line missing stating the bike has to be cold before proceeding with the rest of the operation.

It is odd by the time I got to checking the valve clearance the engine would have been stone cold???
