Great dog Barry.... Looks like my mini version (cocker)! Is yours bonkers like mine!? Mountain goat Swamp rat Great dog
Yep Jim, he's as mad as a hatter. Oscar loves water like yours, he's not into climbing at the moment but mine has a fetish for chasing leafs! I better not show the issues a picture of yours otherwise she'll want yours too!
Today Alfie ate his bed, the skirting boards, the wall, the kitchen floor and the kick boards at the bottom of the kitchen cabinets! Little shit anyone want a lab
My wife is now talking about getting another dog after our last one had a tumour and we put him to sleep in 2007. We never got another dog as we didn't think it was fair on the dog when we both worked full time. She now works from home and has set up her own business and has decided that she now wants a sausage dog (Dachshund) as she thinks they're cute. I've said if we get one dog then we get two as they bounce off each other and I'm determined for them to be rescue dogs, the other is likely to end up being a greyhound.
I've had 3 rescue cats that I got almost 10 years ago. They're still slightly mad! Tilly - sleeps 23.5 hours/day Marmite - who seems never to have grown up And Raven - who is usually very shy, except when I'm trying to work from home!
A bit of a change from actually getting a dog or two. We've decided to foster dogs from Bath Cats and Dogs home to assist them with getting adopted. After a few weeks of visiting and interviews at the dogs home we had out home visit a week last Wednesday and then received a call this Wednesday to ask us to come and look at a Shar-pei that was stressed in the kennels and would benefit from some time in a home environment. So running around our house (well mostly sleeping) is Blaze. He's easily scared gets agitated outside if there's too much going on but once he knows you and is settled in the house he is very calm and quite possibly the softest dog I've ever come across. He's got the usual eye and ear issues that come from the irresponsible breading of sharp-pei's so has his eye operation in 10 days and they're going to chop his nuts off at the same time (poor lad). He's not too bothered by food so is a bit underweight and also difficult to train by treats but is house clean.
