Hi, I am new to the forum, I have bought a 2007 fireblade which has been used on the track, I am going to refurb her and get a nice paint job (Undecided on colour) and put her back on the road. the last owner removed his standard front brake set up, and replaced it with an expensive after market front brake set up, I have sourced some discs. I am looking for the callipers and the master cylinder with lever, my query is what year front callipers fit the 2007 model. Leslie
Callipers Martin, Merry Christmas. I haven't shit the bed, I have got granddaughters. I take it right up to the present model will fit. Thanks Leslie
As far as I'm aware they will, 2004 -2007 are identical calipers. 08 they changed the caliper but I believe they still fit. I presume he has left you the caliper spacers on the forks?
the forks have were only on the bike for app 600 miles while he run it in on the road, then they came off and he put aftermarket forks on (Ohlin's) with a different brake set up. Leslie
Welcome. I am waiting on my daughter and grandson and family coming here later today so apart from all the xmas dinner making its the usual day. Merry Crimbo all. Any Jap radial calipers will fit as they all have a standard offset but will need spacing to suit the disc diameter/ fork fitting. All RR fireblade calipers will fit even upto the current SP model but again you may need sized spacers.
Welcome. As said anything from 04 onwards should be good. If you go for 08 onwards then they will be monoblocks which are supposed to be better and of course you could fit some Brembo M4s (108) if you wanted some bling
Welcome Yorkshire Gooner (Mark) is not too far away from you and will have some calipers. HONDA CBR1000RR FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS MONOBLOCK FIREBLADE 12 13 SPARES BREAKING | eBay Contact him direct rather that via Ebay for a better deal. http://www.yorkshiregooner.co.uk/
