That is very true. My mate afforded his panigale the same way and he's a self employed contracting data analyst.
Lovely bike mate. I would love to do the same myself, but I think I would be falling on my own sword with the possibility of a new blade next year. I know live for the moment and all that but I know if next years blade is a knock out I will think WTF have I done.
I know what your saying, but I'm a lover of inline four cylinder Honda's and not really into V's, which the next Blade "could" be. Plus, I'm not a fan of buying the first year of a new design, as there's always a few niggles that need sorting, that can plague first releases, the early 08 Blades with the later engine had their crankshaft issues and oil consumption probs....... If a new design did come out, I'd be wanting to give it a year to make sure I'm getting a sorted bike. But, I do know what you mean, the replacement for the blade will be something special I'm guessing, but I'll be happy with having the last of the proper blades...... LOL.
Congrats Jim - lovely bike I will look out for you on the A272 and the bury hill run. What ever you do don't buy matching leathers , that's to keen for me. See you soon for a brew.
Looks fantastic in the new logos - I had heard somewhere that all Repsols for 2015 were to be SP editions (clearly duff info. on that) I have a Tech3 R1 and am tempted to remove the 35 logos from it , although it is in the graphics Cal had when he rode it. Roll on March 1st when its happy new bike day - are you getting it venture sheilded in the workshop before collection ? If nothing else get the panels for the two side fairings put on as those are the bits that get really pitted by stones etc.
No Repsol Leathers...... It'll be my old one piece black RST suit. Catch ya soon, somewhere between Loomies and Burry Hill. Alblade : Damned good idea............ Noted.
new blade "if it does ever happen" will be 15k like the r1, sports bikes are just getting to expensive, I don't think I could justify that sort of money for one unfortunately.. Not for Sunday morning 5k a year toy!
Nice, enjoy I still don't like the look of 2008+ Fireblades, but hey, it's not for me I'd like to have a new bike one day.. RSV4RR.. I will keep dreaming
Congrats on the new bike Jim There's nothing like that new bike feeling and the excitement that comes when you get that phone call to tell you that she's ready for collection. Hopefully the weather will be good that day As for the number plates can you not tell them you'll apply it yourself then punt it on eBay if its not to your taste?
