I'm putting my bike back together after replacing shock, ive replaced the rear subframe and control unit and putting back on the rear plastic ie bits underneath the rear seat which holds the rear light, I have a round black rubber bit of piping that im not sure where it goes and i remember it just fell from something a couple of days ago. I can see it in the Haynes manual P6.24 Picture 14.18e but still none the wiser. Any ideas? Thanks (My foot is for scale size 9)
It's the bungy chord that lives in the tail unit. It hooks around the three lugs to hold the tool kit in place

People on here are a friendly helpful bunch who also like a laugh, as you know when you was taking Your shock off, no one took the mic, just helpful advise. Even then you kept losing the plot and flipping out, so don't take it to heart fellow 1000rr's he's just got a little tired again tomorrow he'll be fine ??
