I am selling some brackets that i designed & made to hold a number plate on my 2011 blade. They bolt to the holes where the rear peg hangers bolted to, ( i.e. They wont fit with rear peg hangers!). They are anodised black. Open to offers, sensible ones.
Go mate.. I'd like these as I've a hot bodies undertray and no number plate bracket. Can you pm me what Youd like for them and we can take it from there? Many thanks It's the middle one
I looking for a way I can get my bike MOT with fibreglass track seat unit on, the only problem I have left now is how/where to put a number plate which is safe to use on the road but easily removable without having to take it all apart Anyone got any ideas?
Little bracket like this this one is too big though http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=361007095421
Thank you, will make something like that just to get through. I'm really liking these smaller ones though! Not sure if would fit mine as I have all the ABS stuff on and Sato hooks. Where would you stand if you got pulled with these on?
Depends on the mood of the officer, some will warn you and some will shaft you.Used to be £30 fine now its £60 for a one liner or too small plate. VOSA can now impound your bike unless someone can get to yours and put the right one on.This happened twice at Oakdene Cafe last year. They even impounded a 14 plate Ducati for no brake light. Luckily we managed to fix it for him.Mine had a 7x5 and they didn't even query it.I love one liners but not risking it.
Will also be selling a Genuine Honda carbon rear hugger GP style 08-11, some new sprockets, gear indicator & another style number plate bracket, plus some other bits when i have got some pics of them & posted an ad.
I got nicked for a plate mounted here on my Z1000. and what's more is it was near full sized, they said simply that it had to be mounted on the end of the bike and that's that. I did talk about MOT and so on but was told, shut it, or take the ticket, was that simple. Went back to a 8x6 on the rear.
Luckily plod havent had a word with me over it, but i do live in Somerset & you do happen to see them as often as the Loch Ness monster.
