Couldn't find pics before crashing on a trackday....so threw it back together temporarily for pics today. Should get the idea anyways. Bodywork is from a company called ploy 26 www.poly26.com it's a replica kit of Mick Doohan's NSR 500 and a straight fit onto that era Blade.
Very nice Dymag, love these ram swinging arms exact same arm and wheels as the evo blade had. Is that where they came? Defo worth putting back on the road love it!
I think the wheels and arm got fitted separately, as you could buy arm from RAM on it's own. I have a whole folder full of receipts came with bike, and i think there's receipts/booklets for the wheels, almost a history of everything fitted. Never met builder/owner as he put the bike into a shop to be sold,so only dealt with shop owner. I took a punt on buying it based on pics online and the spec, flew over to UK, rode it home. I assumed the swingarm was VFR, until i got bike home and decided to Google RAM. Holy Moly, when i actually seen what it was, and how much it cost to buy?? about 1700 euros at the time. RAM also made arms for other bikes of that era too. RAM Arms are works of art. Came close to breaking that Blade as i toyed with idea of fitting RAM arm to my 7/11 streetfighter. You can barely make it out in background of one of the pics.
Been very annoying Steve been super busy with work! How dare they give me work to do I have a bike to finish off But have managed to fit the m-lock wireless ignition module which is trick im pleased with it. Vid coming soon of course
Busy with work! Do they not realise you have important community and safety video to produce along with product reviews?
Lol I have my appraisal with my boss tomorrow, I will tell him the channel is suffering due to the new workload. I cannot be expected to work from 9 - 5 it doesn't leave enough room for man cave action!
