Taken the bike apart to perform the ABS brake fluid change. Tank off, radiator, exhaust off etc. How for I get the fluid out of the expansion tank, can't even get a small hose in to siphon.

Going well so far, only broke on of the rad guards (clutch) :)

    Appreciate and advice.

    Cheers

At the risk of staing the obvious, remove the bottom hose and let it drain?

I just sucked the remaining coolant out of the expansion tank hose connected to the rad cap using a syringe. Flushed out a few times with distilled water.

If that doesn't work then unbolt it and turn it upside down.

Thanks for the advice, quite embarrassing really, was looking at the haynes manual which recommends to remove coolant with a turkey baster, which is never going to happen. Never thought to disconnect the bottom hose, doh!

Feel free to take the piss, I deserve it!

    Cheers
