Yes will fit, the Showa shock is still limited, howeva it can be made better for very little money and I would recommend you have it re sprung for your weight, MAXTON suspension carried out the modification and re spring for a member on here and highly recommended the changes.

Good upgrade apparantely, Richard at maxton suggested i find and fit one as its a lot better than the pre 2012 standard shock, i found one in the states off e'bay £50 and £50 delivered so £100 al in, bargain yea ! it turned up bent as a banana so had to bite the bullet and get a maxton rear shock, worked out alright tho, the yankey fella reinbursed every penny and i couldn't be happier with my suspension now.
But yes its worth speaking to richard up maxton, he won't try sell you something you don't need and from memory i think it was only £100ish to get the showa re'sprung and dyno'd

I fitted one to my 2008 track bike after having it Revavled by Ktech........ along with some 2012 front forks..... a cheap upgrade without spending loads of loot........and its transformed the handling of mine......

Yes it goes straight on. I put a Showa one on my 09 blade. I did however, cut a piece out of my rear hugger.
