It's nearly bike time and twitching to get out, in the meantime I am doing a few upgrades.

Does anyone have any experience with the racefit Grower, or Bodis twin pipes, if so which one would you most recommend?

Would I need a Power Commander too?

    Cheers,
    Jay

    ;)

No experience of the Bodis, though I did have a RaceFit for a bit. Lovely bit of kit, fit perfectly first time without any fannying about, and even SMELT nice out of the tube it comes in! The bike actually ran pretty well with it too and I didn't immediately feel like I needed a power commander for it (unlike when I fitted the Yoshi), though I'm sure it wouldn't harm it.

Loud though, hence why I now have the aforementioned Yoshi...

I have just took my leo vince gp off and put a growler black edition on. the one where it has no baffles.

took it out for a daft spin the other day and OMG it is loud!!

but it does sound like a gp bike and it pops and grumbles when down shifting so I love it.

Have got a racefit here as well and imo is one of the best looking and sounding exhausts for the blade! Build quality and lightness is second to none

Well you guys have made my mind up. What's the score with the decibels etc? Don't want the bobbys pulling me up all the time, they street legal?

Think i'll be going with the growler, think it's about half the price of the Yoshi aswell...

    Thanks,
    Chaps!

Lots of police about in my area and I'm very conscious that the Racefit will draw unwanted attention. I just go to idle when passing them and as yet, no problems!

I found a PCV was required to fix a loss of power below 4000rpm, and it worked a treat. I have more power now and a brilliant sounding exhaust. Got some earplugs though!!!!!
