Put all my suspension settings back to stock. Not sure what they were on but I didn't like it. Plus it's a new toy & I can't stop fiddling

Mate, i hear this "ask the wife" thing all the time on here ! Take some Manupadol and tell her how its gonna be ! Now, get on to Kyle Racing and order that bad boy ;)

And if she's still got a problem with it, get her to call 0800 blackness and i'll tell her how it is too :D

Yes I had them on my last blade and sold them to buy HPK's but £s per metre braking these are the best you can buy.

well not my bike, but Danny's SP. Started putting the thing back together after a winter of mods.. she started off a sorry state this morning, but after a breakfast of champions, we go stuck right in and now she is running at least! couple of hours tomorrow should see her as good as new :)

Finally got the ABS system fully bled, we also covered the Front ABS Power Unit in Heat Shielding, as well as the original heat shield in reflective heat shielding (if that makes sense). Who knows if this will make a difference in the ABS failing again or not!

Good idea with the heatshielding - keep us informed if it makes a difference or not :)

Minor stuff. Fitted optimate lead, sorted positioning the ASV levers properly. Just realised I was going to remove the tax disk holder and forgot... oh well... job for tomorrow now!

I used this heat reflective tape Cool Foil Tape | Heatshield Products When i bled my c-abs unit in the summer of 2013.

Not had an issue with my brakes since doing the full bled and placing the heat tape. I reckon heat soak from the exhaust system and the engine causes the fluid to overheat/breakdown quicker than any other system.

Finally had to admit defeat on fitting the CRF rear brake MC to the bike. Made a Heath Robinson bracket to fit it to the bike, and modified the clevis so it would fit over the standard brake pedal, but the MC won't line up straight unless it is towards the outside, and then you can't fit the heal guard. All the time I have also been struggling for space due to the link pipe and cover.

I know it will work with an aftermarket set of rearsets but it looks like a no-go with oem ones, especially on underseat exhaust models, and so it is time to abandon this project on my bike and sell it on to someone with aftermarket rearsets. Will get it into the for sale section later on but if anyone wants it then make me an offer. It owes me £140 and comes with a braided hose, banjo bolt, and a new diaphragm as the one currently fitted isn't good enough.
