Hello Everyone! Thought I would say a quick hello. My names Sam, I'm from Manchester, and I own a 2009 CBR1000RR Repsol, owned it since new, pretty stock apart from a Leo Vince exhaust, and the flaps removed out of the intake. Probably do some more stuff to it this year, and get it ready for some track fun! Not ridden it for about 2 months, I'm a fair weather rider, no rain or cold weather for me! Anyway, hope to meet some of you soon for a ride out
Welcome Sam, I can recommend a R&G radiator cover for your bike. A mate bought one for his 09 Repsol, after he bought a new rad for £550!!!
Welcome Definitely get a rad guard! I got a hole in my 2010 rad from a stone chip. It's damn unlucky if it happens but very expensive to repair.
hi sam Rad guard is definitaly a good idea. weve replaced soo many RR8 blade radiators in the past 2 years. More than any bike i can remember, for some reason they seem to attract stones.
