As long as I can ride the bike and it runs and handle sweet I ain't fussed. I will be getting a spare set of fairings soon though.
James, Jimmy here from Brasil I am in the middle of a conversion of my 2008 FB, I have gone for the usual mods Bazzaz QS and TC CRC Fairing Kit Renthal cogs to 44/14 Brembo levers and reservoir new Hel hoses HD Panel- its went for a burton on me today Local hand made exhaust all Tig work Ligh Tech pedals. Here comes by dilemma I have removed all the lights and unwanted stuff not required on the track but never took the loom right out, in fact I will back up a bit, the first part was done for me and the redundant connections were left in, its left spaghetti of cables and plugs that are not required, your advice on removing all the loom not required, to me seems fairly obvious get it all out, the bike will never go on the road again, Im just a wee bit worries as i never started it, most of it is obvious I guess Im looking for moral support as I'm not a dummy but if you have any obvious tips I would love to hear them. I will start a thread like your own with pictures, sorry to hijack yours but its inspired me to get it done, will drain gas tank tomorrow and start, I wish I had been involved since the start would have been much easier. Great photos great info and great confidence booster, hope it rips the track for you. Twist it off or Braaaaaarp as they say in Brasil Cheers Jimmy
My OCD isnt that bad so like Scott said I just cable tied the wiring loom to the front fairing bracket and I also tucked some of it down the side of the fairing.
There's always something else to put on the bike it's never ending. I'll be able to fit my long legs in now! Great quality and great price. Only got to wait til Thursday to try them out
