Strange you mention it. It runs much better than the standard exhaust but i decided to book it in for a dyno and pcv on the 24th. I just wanted to be sure its the best it can run. So if you wait 3 weeks i can tell you if its worth the £500 or not.
Racefit is £600 as its different to previous models. The racefit without baffles sounds good on tick over but its ear bleedingly loud on the road and is too loud. With baffles its much quieter and past 70 you cant hear it .
GPR, Removeable DB killer and baffle. Great sound on the move with this pipe.I think the build quality is excellent. Had it on my 08 and now my 2010 Blade. Don,t want to part with it, and for the money, well I think you can,t go wrong. Now my only gripe is that the link pipe directs the can a bit too parallel to the floor. I think it would look 10 times better if another section of link pipe could sweep it up a fraction. . I,m hoping this is my (very) short video link I whacked on to You Tube a year ago. It was in the works car park, and as you can see I,m no David Bailey. I know car parks distort the sound and all that, but f**k it , its all I have at the moment
Ive just sold my racefit black edition for a yoshimura R11 and the noticable gugrunt difference is unbelievable
Jay, just looking at the pic of your bike with the Akrapovic on it, I can see that you've used the aluminium exhaust mount spacers they supply rather than the rubber ones on used on the standard exhaust - I ended up keeping the rubber ones in there on mine as the angle to which the carbon Akra exhaust band was being offered up to the mount on the rearset was a long way out, and there were lots of concerning carbon cracks and creaks when tightening it up. Was this the same with yours?
To be honest I just throw them on and never used it as I had Gilles rear sets waiting to be fitted, I used the spacer and 2 washers on rear sets as it was to close to swing arm.
